Selection Procedure :

1. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria w.r.t. qualification and experience will be allotted weightage as follows: 

a. Aggregate Marks secured in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) / MBA / MSW in the relevant disciplines: 75% or 75 Marks

b. Relevant Post Qualification experience: 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every additional experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks.: 10 Marks

c. Interview for shortlisted candidates (Video - Based): 15 Marks

d. Total: 100 Marks

2. In case any University / Institute following an evaluation system of CGPA / DGPA / OGPA or letter grade, the candidate, wherever applicable, it is mandatory for the candidate to submit percentage (%) conversion certificate issued by university / institution and awarded class along with the application.

Educational Qualifications :

* Stenographer (Grade-III) (HQ Level) : The candidate must be a Graduate in any stream from a recognized College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University with having National Trade Certificate in stenography (under ITI’s Assam) or any other Institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam / Govt. of India with 80 WPM in English Stenography.

Pay :
* Junior Assistant (HQ Level) : Rs 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 6200 Grade pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules
*Junior Assistant (District Level) : Rs 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 5600 Grade pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules
*Computor (HQ Level) : Rs 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 6200 Grade pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules
* Stenographer (Grade-III) (HQ Level) : Rs 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules

Age : Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2020 (candidate must born on or before 01-01-2002 and on or after 01-01-1982)

Stenographer : 12th pass certificate from a recognized Board. Should possess a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography English/ Hindi on the basis of competitive examination to be conducted by the concerned Director of the Institute. Certificate Course in computer application typing speed 5 key depression for each word.

Multi-Tasking Staff : 10th standard pass from recognized Board/ recognized school

Age Limit:

Age Limit: One should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on October 1, 2020. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC

ITI: One should possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit list prepared (trade wise, unit-wise, community-wise). The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in matriculation and ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is done.
